Do the Right Thing

When I watch this movie, nothing really hit me, but in the last scene that the riot was happening. That scene really make me realize so many things. I realize that even though this movie had been made such a long time ago. In the present there are still small war like this happening that is related to racists. Like right now there is a small war in the south east Asia that some people don't like the Muslim and now they are bombing the town and killing the innocent people just because they are Muslim. I think that it is really unfair, because all culture teaches us to be good, but how they teach is not always be the same like the other culture. In the movie they showed how black people are treated badly by the white police. I still sees that it is still happening today. Because the color of the skin, and because of how a person look, makes the people look at each other in a different way. Doesn't mean that if you are black, that's means that you are dirty and poor. Or, if you see an Asian, they have a black hair, the color of their skin is not white, but kinda yellow, doesn't mean that they are not as good as the white people. Because they are born like that, they are not the one that decides if they wanted to be black or not. This movie really makes me think about the things around me, and how people treated me because I am different from the other people.

The Battle of the Algiers

The story was completely true. Many people really enjoy to watch this movie, because it gives us information and really be able to let the later generation to really see how it was like in the war. So people could get to understand how it was like. They also compare the movie in the present too, they talk that it is quite similar to the war in Iraq. The movie won the film festival, and the movie was studied.

When I was listening to this, they still talk about the war in Iraq and I realize that this war in Iraq was happening for a really long time. It is like 8 years already when the war had begun. I also wondered why people have war and in that war we are helping each other. Like in the movie, they French come down to the village to give the people bread and food to eat when they are fighting each other. Not only that in the Iraq even though American and Iraq are fighting each other they still help each other. So I wondered why if we know how to share and know how to give, why should we have war? Can't there be love between countries? Like right now there are so many organizations and government that wanted to make peace all over the world. They have AFS, EF, and etc. Sending students to all the place all over the world to learn each other cultures. So we would be able to understand each other and love one another. The kings and the queen and the president of nearly every country fly all over the place to meet with the king and queen and president of nearly every country. Getting to know each other. So there would be no more war. It would be such a wonderful world when all the war are stopped and all the country unite and love one another.

Chinatown

I think that this movie is the least confusing film noir I have watch. I feel glad that not a lot of people died in this movie. I feel quite sad because the good people die, but the not so good people is alive. I also notice that this movie have no sensor. I can't believe the person who have to play as Mrs. Mulwray have to get naked and the movie don't have a sensor and million of people who are watching this movie would see it. How embarrassing!!! How horrible. --" I think that this movie is a nice movie even though the title Chinatown did not involve in the movie much, because the only scene that is in the Chinatown is the last scene and then that's it. But so far, I don't know yet what is my favorite part in the movie, but maybe soon I will figure it out.

Kiss me deadly

I think that this movie is a very, horrible movie because in the scene that a man came into a room where the girl are practicing balley and she always do the same action back and forth, back and forth. Not only that the background music is the same everywhere. Like in the scene that there is a man singing up stair and the volume of the sound is the same all through until the man open the door. I feels that the writer and the director does not really care how the people would like it or not. I feel like they just make a movie and people just watch it and they get the money. I am so sorry that I said that. And as the same I do not understand anything about the movie. Even the Americans themselves is having a problem in understanding the movie. I don't understand why the movie have to make it so complicated. It makes people confuse and soon bored of it. Now I know why this film is no longer be used in the film.

Out of the Past

I would say that this movie, is totally confusing. I do not understand a thing at all. I also see that this movie have a lot of smoking too, and I can't believe that taking a break for them is smoking. I have never seen this kind of movie before, but this movie make me feel sad in a way because in the end nearly everyone die. Even the hero died! That's so sad. So far that I don't even understand the movie, I don't think that I have a favorite part in this movie. As time pass by I don't think that there are this kind of movie came out anymore, because I have never seen one come out into the theather before in my life, and if the movie is a mysterious type of movie, I never seen them smoke, or the hero got kiled. My favorite detective movie would be Conan, I don't know if you know it or not. It is about a teenage detective that one day he got poisoned and he turn into a kid again and he life with a detective family, and he always observe the case and when he surely know who killed the person, he will shoot a one detective to sleep and he will put a speaker to that person's mouth and he would describe the case. I really enjoyed it.

Eternal Sunshine

I feel that this movie is a really fun movie. It feels like the creativity in the writers mind come out to play in this movie. I also like the way this movie have been edited. Even though the effect is not so hard to do, I already feel that it is very creative of them. I really like that in this movie they took it in so many settings so it would not going to be bored being in the same setting nearly all through the movie like in "His Girlfriday". I really like the part in the dream that Clementine is with Joel and he became a child again. I think that it is very funny when he was under the table, and crying. I really like that. But this movie is also a bit confusing because I feel like the scene have already been played and they are playing it again, and also I feel like the scene is not in order because it was like showing in one period of time and they jump back and fort through time. I am really confuse when watching this movie.

His Girl Friday

I think that this movie is a nice movie. People talk really fast and sometimes I have a hard time understanding them. I think that movie really showed me how it was like when a girl is being loved by two men. This movie doesn't really showed the romantic comedy because most of the part there are no romantic scene. Only the scene toward the end of the movie, is the only romantic part I see so far. I would called it a screwball comedy more. I see that Hildy is a very strong woman that can control people around her. When she is a specific person the way she talk changed. Like when Hildy is with Walter they talk really fast and forcefully, most of the time the way they talk look like they are having a problem. But when she is talking to Bruce, she talk slow and nicely. Hildy also wear a costume that look not so lady like. Like she wear a hat that look like a news reporter hat. This movie really make me feel that love is something that is so difficult to understand. It is also very hard too to maintain the love of someone. May be in the beginning that person loves you, but in the end that person end up marrying the others rather than you. Love is so difficult thing for me. But I like this movie, but the scene towards the end is quite confusing.

Unforgiven

For me I think that this movie is quite a scary movie because so many people die and they kill each other by guns. They are like wanting to have revenge with others all the time. Which I don't really like this movie. But the part that makes me feel very satisfied and happy is that when Will shoot at Little Bill. I feel happy because I think that he deserved to die and if he won't get killed by Will, there would always be someone else that wanting to kill him because of what he have done to other people. But over all I think that this movie is ok, only the shooting noise startle me a bit.

The King and I (Behind the Scenes)

This story plot comes from the story written by Anna Leonowens, who became school teacher to the children of King Mongkut of Siam in the early 1860s. This movie is a bit like an autobiography but it is illegal, because of the historical inaccuracies about the King of Siam. Then soon it became a movie.
This movie have to be remake 5 times because some part have a bad description about the King of Thailand and the Thai people don’t like that images to tell the people that the King is like this. So I will just tell the original one. This director is John Van Druten, he is famous from this movie. Choreographed by Jerome Robbins, scenic and light design by Jo Mielziner, and costumes designed by Irene Sharaff. There are a lot of camera work and light during the part that the King held a royal party and the camera were like on the ceiling and you can see how bright the light from the ceiling was.
This film won an oscar as the best music. They have their own original sound track and they use the whole orchestra to play the songs in the movie. Every scene have their own music and every music is very wonderful. It make this film won so many osca for best music, acting, etc.

The Pramoj brothers send their manuscript to the American politician and diplomat, who drew on it for this biography entitled Mongkut the King of Siam (1961) Moffat donated the Pramoj manuscript in the Library in 1961. Then there are remarked happened.

First Western Movie review

On the first scene of stagecoach I have seen how a western look like, and people were like speaking so fast and quite hard to understand what they are talking about. This is my first western movie that I have ever watch and see so I don't know which movie I can compare it to.

I think that this movie is quite fun when I see the chasing happening. It really chapture the attendtion of the class, and my favorite part of this movie is on the last scene that they are running away from the Indians and it make me feel like that you "can do it, you can do it". Because it is very exciting.

If I look into the editing I see that these kinds of movies doesn't have a lot of effect that involve with pictures, but there are alot of sound effects. They use alot of tracking dolls and crane. Have a bit of tilt and pan, and most of the time they use cut, and some dissolve. Their back ground music and sound effect really heat up the movie!

Citizen Kane

I think that I would like to talk about editing because, I think that editing in this movie is quite interesting because they combine paintings and real people perfectly. I think that doing things like this can save alot of money. They don't have to build a giant house just to shoot it for 2-3 times. It also save alot of time because they don't have to wait for the house to be build, and in the scene that Mr. Kane is talking to a lot of people when he is encouraging people to vote for him. He combine the painting and the real people together, so they don't need to hire alot of people just to sit there. I think that if we go back into that century that there are no program to help to make the movie. I think that the people who is working on this movie is really good.

This movie is very similar with another movie that is called Amarutalai
Because both of them is a movie about the mysterious cases that involves historian time in it.
The main character are: Puti (Patchapa Narmparn); Tem (Srisika Jensen)
The setting is mostly in the forest, and cave, and in an ancient temple, and the building in the city where the labritaory is.
The main situation is that long, long before, many, many thousands of year ago, there is a kingdom called Maha na korn Bangbot. This kingdom live a king, and the king have a queen. And as time goes by the king falled in love with the loyal secretary of the king, and when the queen notice that, she have an evil plan. Because in this town there is 2 crystal that belong to the king and this crystal is very powerful and there is a tale that who ever drink and bath in the crystal they will never die and become more powerful. But this crystal have a cursed that who ever swallowed the crystal they will have a power, but they will die if they don’t bring the crystal out before the crystal started to destroy the body. Because the queen swallowed the crystal she became powerful and then she died, and when the king know that the queen died he tough that the royal secretary killed the queen. So she was prosecuted. So after 4000 years they were born again as an historian so the king who is still a lived tries to be able to torture the royal secretary again because of the anger that he keep it in him for thousands and thousands of years.

What will happen next you can watch this in the full version with a length of the movie of 50 hours long and over millions of dollar have been spend on the production of this movie, and 5 years of movie production.

Analysis of the film

I think that it involved convolute, because many things is combined, like they combined the history to the modern. It is also realistic because now in the present there is a place were they research for the ancient stuff and it is very interesting to see the thing from the history.
In this movie most of the time they speak in a normal way, but when it is time that they are remembering the history or the history and the present meet each other people began to speak in an old language that some words I don’t really understand.
I think that the theme of this movie is history because nearly everything is about history.
I found some symbol in the movie like in the beginning of the movie it is showing the professor going into the ancient temple and he uses the bird key to open the door to the temple where the king was. Then in the middle of the movie, they showed it again that the another professor come in again with the bird.
I feel that the actor is really like they are really them and the even is really happening. Because they can be able to react to the situation very well. Which I really enjoyed it.
In the beginning they usually wear like a modern dress, nothing special, but they have guns and satellite, and so many hi-tech stuff that were used in the military. It is very unique to what i have seen in the another movie.
In the movie they use a lot of camera movement. I notice that not even 30 second yet they change the camera, and I get to see the different point of view of each character, so I think that they are making this movie look very interesting. I also see that they use every kind of lens angle.
This movie have a lot of quick cuts, the editing is really good, they can hide every thing that will make people notice nothing is wrong in the movie. They is a lot of magic inside.
There are many sound effect, and normally the movie in Thailand have allot of sound effect, the American movie doesn’t have that much sound effect like in the Thai movie. They also added a sound effect to make everything look so creepy when they get inside the temple. The bird sound is super scary.

This movie is my favorite movie of this year so far.

Personal Movie review

I am very interested in movies, especially movie making that have a lot of special effects inside. I especially love to watch how they would be able to make it come out so good that the people can't really see how they do it. I also already try to make one, and the thing that I can make, is only make a person fly, and make them have power to dissapear, and appear, and transform from something to the another thing, and which all of these that I tell you, it can be made in a simple way. So now I am trying to make the character to be able to do more magical stuff like, having magical spells, and I try already, it came out so bad, it doesn't real at all. So I still have alot of learning to do^^

I love this movie very much, I enjoyed seeing it.

I agree with the reviews, because I also feel the same way, but the writer of this review gives a much deeper understanding of the movie. because, like in one of the sentence said that, Harry Potter have a feeling of angriness in him most of the time in school. Which I notice that, but I didn't know that his friend is also trying to help him. I only know that Harry is angry, didn't know that his friend is trying to help him too to make him feel better.

This review is fun to read, because it is not giving the summary only, but it's telling the emotion of how the characters feel. Which it helped me understand the movie better.
